It's Been Awhile...

So, it's obviously been awhile since I updated my blog....oops.
I have since had a birthday, making me 29. Only 1 year away from the big 3-0. Wow I feel old. Plus, I always say that each one of my kids aged me another 5 years each. So, add 15 years under my belt. That makes me 44! Not to mention my health problems. I think all of my health issues age me as well. Let's just round and say I'm 50. 50 is about how I feel.
I went through a battle with T-Mobile. After a few shed tears, many phone calls, and an incredible amount of stress, I finally won the fight. It only took me filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Not long after I did that, I was contacted by the corporate office of T-Mobile. As a "one time curteosy" they were going to let me out of my contract because I've been  with them for so long (over 8 years). Funny, I had asked for that on multiple phone calls before and was always denied. But I'm glad to finally be done with the huge headache. I started service with Verizon, and I have had ZERO of the service issues that I had with T-Mobile. Not to mention, I have an awesome phone that I love! I got the Galaxy S3 and the only downfall it seems to have is the short battery life. But, I'm usually home which gives me access to a phone charger. Nick upgraded and got a RAZR Maxx. He seems to really like it a lot. And it's battery life definitely exceeds mine. I'm a little jealous, but I like my phone much better overall.
Now that the Christmas decorations are put away again, I need to find some barstools for our kitchen bar. They're tough to find because we need taller than normal ones - at LEAST 30" high. And we'd like them to have backs for when the girls sit in them.
Next month we get to take all the critters in for their rabies boosters (with the exception of Chloe since she just got her first one). And Chloe will be getting spayed. That should be a fun trip - I will definitely need Nick's help to accomplish that office visit.
Brooke still wants absolutely NOTHING to do with potty training. She got big girl panties for Christmas and when she saw them, she threw them. We all got a big laugh about it, but I'm still wishing that she would act even a little interested in using the potty. I'm so ready to be done with diapers. I even tried using school as a way to "bribe" her into going on the potty. She said she wanted to go to school like Lilly and Eadon. I told her that she has to be able to go potty like a big girl and not wear a diaper like a baby. She immediately told me that she no longer wanted to go to school. *sigh*
My sister is back from BASIC! She was medically discharged due to an injury she got while there. I'm glad I don't have to worry about her being deployed anymore!! And it was awesome to see her on Christmas morning :)
I think I've babbled enough for now. Until next time.....
